Dr. Sara Barton
Dr. Sara Barton is a dual board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and is a full-time clinical physician at CCRM in Colorado. She earned her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine where she graduated first in her class. She completed her residency at Harvard in obstetrics and gynecology and stayed on at Harvard to pursue a three-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Barton has also served as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Dr. Barton has authored numerous articles and textbook chapters on the field of reproductive endocrinology, primarily in the area of fertility preservation and fertility in cancer survivors. She has a passion for fertility preservation, assisting same-sex couples with fertility options, and optimal stimulation protocols for assisted reproduction. She has consistently been named a Castle Connolly "Top Doctor" in her field. When she's not busy with patients, Dr. Barton spends time with her three children and husband Jake in the mountains of Colorado, seeing as much live music as her schedule will allow. She is an avid yoga practitioner, having found the benefits of yoga in her personal health and her patient's well-being. She studied the health benefits of yoga for a month outside Bangalore, India during her medical training.
