Golf Is the New Girls’ Fall Getaway!

Golf is becoming the girls’ Fall getaway of choice. I've recently picked up the clubs again and hit the local driving range with girlfriends both new and old, to hit some balls and enjoy our normal conversation, but with a side of #sports. Since 2019, the number of female golfers surged by 41%, and women now make up a record 28% of all on-course players. Rather than keeping their clubs at home, women are planning full-on golf retreats—blending wellness, style, and social connection.

Resorts are rolling out women-focused golf clinics, chic gear, and spa add-ons to welcome ladies looking for more than just a round. Even travel specialists report 20%+ growth in women’s golf travel, turning it into a lucrative $30?billion industry globally.

The community is just as powerful as the sport. Online groups like Women Who Golf now span multiple countries, and programs such as Women’s Golf Day offer beginner-friendly, fun-filled days at 1,300+ locations worldwide. This isn’t about competing—it’s about connection. Think girlfriends teeing off in the crisp morning, lounging around the spa midday, and sipping wine around a campfire at the clubhouse in the evening.

Golf retreats for women are growing—fast. They offer a fresh blend of sport, wellness, and travel in a supportive environment. So go ahead: grab your clubs (and your best gal pals), book that retreat, and join the fun!
