Hi Rescripted Partner Community!
If we haven’t yet met, I’m Emily McCarty, Rescripted Account Executive. I’m starting a quick-hitting weekly newsletter for our partners called, “From the Content Meeting”, where I share personal learnings and burning questions about media, content, and women’s health & wellness consumers. Thank you for reading! I’m really excited to hear your feedback, so please ping me with any thoughts you have for me.
Last week was ASRM, the largest fertility-oriented conference in the US, taking place annually. This year, we gathered in Denver, and I really enjoyed meeting so many of Rescripted’s partners, including Cicero Diagnostics, Organon, and Pinnacle. Here’s a takeaway from the conference and, of course, what I learned From the Content Meeting, which we hold weekly at Rescripted on Tuesdays:
- At ASRM, we were talking to one of our clinic partners, who’s in the process of carefully constructing their marketing team. I was so pleased to see that their third hire is a Content Marketer. When it comes to TTC, infertility, and pregnancy loss, content is so important in terms of helping consumers know the facts, PLUS creating a sense of empathy/making sure they know they’re not alone on their journey. Consumers aren’t going to convert unless you create that trust with them, and the best way to create that trust with them is through a thoughtful content strategy.
- It’s no secret that Rescripted places a big emphasis on organic search, and as such, we’re on near-constant watch for Google algorithm updates. We saw a big update in May with the release of Google’s AI tool, and we saw another update in August that was very good for Rescripted and our partners. In looking at Rescripted’s Google Search Console, it feels like there might be another update in the works, and we’re annoyed that there seems to be a bug they’re working through! Check out this post on X for a kind of funny visual.
- We’re not shy about sharing our personal journeys at Rescripted, and Abby, who’s three months postpartum, and Kristyn, who’s due in December, were lamenting their pelvic floor issues. We got curious about pelvic floor dysfunction with our community and ran a survey. Ping me if you want to see the results! I’d love to share what we learned.
That’s all for now! Talk to you next week.
XO Emily
