Melissa Hummelt is a licensed psychotherapist with more than 15 years of experience in mental health and more than a decade of providing therapy online. She focuses on perinatal mental health, trauma, anxiety, and depression, and uses somatic approaches to healing. Her clinical work draws on evidence-based methods like CBT, EMDR, and mindfulness. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University. She has worked in private practice, community mental health, and digital care, and currently serves as Principal Manager of Clinical Operations at BetterHelp, where she is passionate about expanding access to quality mental health support.
